UK producer Jack Cleary trained at the University of Brighton on the Digital Music & Sound Art course giving him the tools to develop a sound that is a fusion and collection of genres such as rock, hip-hop, ambience, experimental and electronic music. He boasts an impressive list of collaborations such as: Auxx (Louis Sterling) an electronic music artist, Fitz Rolla a Hip-Hop artists and songwriter and Rosina Keri an acoustic songwriter.
Previously he’s collaborated with other artists such as Auxx (Louis Sterling) an electronic music artist, Fitz Rolla a Hip-Hop artists and songwriter and Rosina Keri an acoustic songwriter. Further more Jack has collaborated with filmmakers Connor Kinsey on a short comedy film Subtle with a small ensemble of acoustic instrument, as well as Christin Krammer on a dance film which used soft synthesised sounds. Jack has also created some of his own experimental films, where he scores to abstract moving images, with the focus on music and colour.
Currently the artist is working on Gemini, a dark ambient record scheduled to release 21st of November. Ahead of the full length release, he offers a taste of what’s to come with the track Beyond, delivering a Bonobo-esque percussive soundscape. Light instrumentation combines with deep bass lines while his flamenco inspired guitar work invokes sketches of Spain on top of his spaced-out sound.
