Calgary, Alberta based electronic artist Sievi effortlessly blends electronic and acoustic elements to push the boundaries of his sound. The Canadian producer takes cues from the likes of Tycho, Boards of Canada and Bonobo to craft his sound.
This time round, he returns with new single Birch Tree; an uplifting sonic euphoria packed with charging rhythm and blissful instrumental textures. Bright synths and pianos collide with driving afrobeat drums to build this tapestry which Sievi describes as, “an emotional cinematic story representing what is feels like to remember one’s self”.
