There has been wide speculation about the release of Adele‘s new record since May 2014 when the singer teased fans stating the album would be released later that year. However, her label XL Recordings later revealed the tentative release date for the new album, titled 25, had been scrapped.
The 27-year-old hit-maker’s last album 21, was released in 2011. Now, as fans have been waiting eagerly for her new music, it has been claimed by Billboard that the highly-anticipated release will be coming in November.
Max Martin and Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. have both written tracks for the record, while OneRepublic‘s Ryan Tedder is also believed to have some involvement in Adele’s new sound.
Back in July, Ed Sheeran opened up about the rumours surrounding the record, admitting he has heard nothing but good things from his peers. ‘I haven’t heard [Adele’s album], but everyone I know whove worked on it is just like, ‘Dude. that record!’ Apparently, it’s really good,’ he told UK radio station Capital FM.
Adele had taken a break from her music career after giving birth to son Angelo in October 2012 with boyfriend Simon Konecki, who she began dating earlier that year. Since then the star hasn’t released any new music other than the theme song to James Bond movie Skyfall in 2012.
