South Carolina-based music producer Altvater has previously dropped a string of downtempo electronic tracks, most recently the single Moonbird in July. He uses a fusion of electronica, cinematic trip hop, and hip hop to craft his laid back sound, blending a mix of instrumentation and grooving rhythms to lay down intriguing soundscapes.
Following up the last release he brings us the new piece Quietly, The Sea, featuring a sultry piano and guitar arrangement, driven by punching live drums and wrapped up by smooth saxophone lines. We’re looking forward to hearing what his next endeavour reveals; a collaboration on a new single with British producer OhmField.
