This year’s climate change initiative Pathway To Paris will include a concert featuring artists from all over the world including Thom Yorke, Flea, and Patti Smith.
The concert to be held on 4th December at Le Trianon, Paris, is designed to raise the awareness of climate change and promote the urgency of action to combat it. In partnership with global climate movement 350.org, the show will feature musicians and speakers, rounding off the build up of associated events held in New York and Montreal.
The event will coincide with the UN Climate Change Conference which will take place between November 30th and December 11th in Paris.
Pathway to Paris was co-founded by musician-activists Rebecca Foon and Jesse Paris Smith, both of whom will appear at the concert alongside featured speakers Naomi Klein, Bill McKibben and Vandana Shiva.
This is the second version of the concert after last year’s P2P which took place at New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge in September 2014, following the People’s Climate March.
Tickets are available for purchase from September with all proceeds going to 350.org.
